NAWL Member Forum to Support the Rule of Law

04/04/2025 12:30 PM - 01:30 PM ET

Description

For over 125 years, the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) has been dedicated to advancing women in the legal profession and advocating for equality for women under the law. Inherent in our mission is a commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law, which are facing unprecedented challenges.

As the leading voice for women in the law, NAWL has a critical role to play in supporting our members in this moment. We have joined forces with bar associations across the country to support the American Bar Association (ABA)’s statement on the rule of law.

Now we want to hear from you.

On Friday, April 4 from 12:30 – 1:30 PM ET, you’re invited to a virtual forum, exclusively for NAWL members. It will be a space to ask questions, share resources, and be heard.

Together, we’ll discuss:

  • As individuals, what can we do to defend the rule of law?

  • As organizations, how do we take bold steps to protect the profession?

  • As NAWL members, what types of support, resources, or actions do we need from NAWL as we face these challenges together?

Join us on Zoom however you feel comfortable – from a personal or work device, with your camera on or off, named or anonymously, or by phone only.

The strength of NAWL lies in our members—the collective power of our community—and now is the time for us to come together.
