Protecting the Vote, Protecting Democracy

Description

In 1899, NAWL was founded by women who had become lawyers before they could legally vote. Their first major project was women’s suffrage. Now, 125 years later, we are harnessing the power of bringing women lawyers together with a variety of events focused on protecting democracy and voting rights – an important topic 125 years ago and in this election year.

The exclusive virtual component of NAWL’s 125th anniversary celebration, our four-part monthly series from March to June will explore how protecting the right to vote is paramount to protecting our democracy. Join us for one or all sessions.
